Dyer County Fair

The Dyer County Fair is a annual county fair held in Dyersburg, Tennessee. The fair celebrates community through agriculture, art, and families for its 63rd consecutive year.

DRT Media provided a website redesign for the Dyer County Fair. The goal was to provide a playful, inviting, user-friendly fair website. We used rich, vibrant colors and made the layout appear as an open tent to symbolize the welcoming community of the Dyer County Fair. Some of the main points of the redesign are the addition of ads and a restructured navigation. The ads span down the right sidebar which are meant to be in an attractive place for advertisers, but also out of the way for users surfing the site. The navigation was broken down into seven main headings and each include drop downs which guide users to various parts of the website. Subpages include a secondary navigation which is display conveniently on the left sidebar.
